El pasado jueves estuvimos realizando experimentos en 2º A relacionados con las mezclas y cómo separarlas (sieving or evaporation). Primero mezclamos sólido y líquido (lentejas con agua) y adivinaron que hay que separar la mezcla con el colador; después, mezclamos sal y agua y esa disolución se separa por medio de la evaporación (Dejamos el recipiente de agua/sal en la repisa de la ventana por fuera y en uno o dos días, el agua se habrá evaporado y los alumnos/as verán los cristales de sal en el fondo del recipiente).
Last Thursday, we experimented in the 2nd grade A with mixtures and how to separate them. First we mixed solid and liquid (lentils/water) and they guessed that we can separate the mixture sieving it; after that, we mixed salt/water and they guessed that the mixture must be separated by evaporation. (They will see the result after some days, when the water evaporates and we could see the salt at the bottom of the recipient).
